We purchased 4, 3 as gifts I sure hope the others project better then ours. The one we have makes a barely visable numbers at 6 feet.

This clock does a great job of projecting the time display onto a ceiling in a dark room. The positioning of the projected display is versatile thanks to the combination of a movable portion of the clock and the option to rotate the projected image with the controls as well. Having said that, the buttons are very, very low quality and require a nimble and practiced touch to control them as desired. When setting the alarm time, one push of the button may advance the time three or four hours instantly...unreliable at best. I consider myself technologically advanced, and it takes me two or three times a night to set the alarm time because I pass by my desired time due to the poor performance of the clock buttons. The electronic menu layout is rather awful to make matters worse. But I sure do like seeing the time on my ceiling. That part pretty much makes it worthwhile somehow.

I love waking up to the time showing on the ceiling! No more craning my neck and practically falling out of bed to read the clock. And I can read it without my glasses---nice, big bold numbers. Only draw-back is that my husband is color-blind and he can't see red, so he misses out on getting the time from the ceiling!

Took a week to interpret instructions that must have been written by an engineer. Without a lighted face, the only use is the time projection and that is just so-so.

I use the clock in my bedroom. I love the projection feature and the ability to rotate the time in different directions. It would be nice if you could increase the broadness of the projected time for easier reading. It's kind of weird setting the alarm, but you'll get used to it. If you have to re-set the clock for whatever reason, it's a pain and takes longer than desired! Lastly, the clock needs a longer cord!

I would never buy this one again. Can not see numbers when projected on wall 12 ft away. The case of the clock is made so that the only way the numbers can be projected is on the ceiling. Numbers are so faded that they do not show up on the wall until they are projected from as close a 4-5 feet. The clock will never be used at my house unless I live in a room smaller than 10 ft. square.
