All instruments default to fahrenheit, inches, mph and all atomic time pieces are tuned to the 60 kHz, WWVB radio signal broadcast by the National Institute of Standards and Technology at Fort Collins, Colorado.

The clock is great but a previous one we had was about 1-2" larger in all directions so it was easier to read. Unfortunately that one met an untimely death and was MISSED

use it in the living room but it is hard to see when the room is dim.
