The included software requires WindowsTM 98 or above, Pentium 166 or higher, 32M of RAM, 20M of hard drive space, and a CD-ROM drive to install. The software can remove stored data from the interface and place it in a file on the PC's hard drive. Selected data can be exported as an ASCII file for use in other programs (such as Excel). Also, graphs, charts, and data lists can be generated from the stored data (for example, wind speed and direction for January 2004).

Founded in 1985, La Crosse Technology is a multinational company that has lead its business to thrive through a small-town emphasis on customer satisfaction. Their consumer electronics products include radio-controlled clocks and watches, wireless weather stations, power monitors, and other measuring devices. La Crosse Technology introduced radio-controlled clocks to the US market in 1991 and continues to be on the cutting edge of this technology across America. All of their weather instruments, clocks and watches are calibrated daily to the atomic time standard of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. All instruments default to fahrenheit, inches, mph and all atomic time pieces are tuned to a 60 kHz, WWVB radio signal in Fort Collins Colorado. More on La Crosse Technology...
