I thought this would look great in my very Victorian kitchen. I know it says deep case clock, but it still surprised me how far from the wall it extends. I just think it looks quite plastic-y. It's even plastic, not glass, covering the face. And I kept noticing the worn parts of the clock face and sort of hoped that is was just something on the photo; but no, it's really like that on the face. I don't care for the look too much, but it will probably look fine up on the wall.

We like this clock a lot!! It is a replacement of another clock that stopped working. After more than 6 months of looking, I finally chose this clock. My preference is quality over quantity.

I placed this clock on the kitchen wall above the pantry door where it could be viewed in both the kitchen and family room. When the sun shines against it, the gold color is enhanced, which blends in with the color scheme of our interior decor. We find the clock to be very attractive. Since it is in the kitchen (the room where everybody typically congregates and is fairly noisy), the "ticking" noise does not bother us at all. In fact, you don't even hear it until everyone is tucked in bed or out of the house. I don't plan to replace this clock unless I really have to.

This clock is deep dish and has a great appearance of age and makes a great impression. However, this clock should not be placed in a bedroom, because it is very noisy when it is quiet in the rest of the room..
