Hentschel | CSN Clocks
Since 1890 Hentschel has worked to continue their hand built tradition, one precious clock at a time. Over the years, Hentschel’s tools and techniques may have been modernized, however their commitment to Old World craftsmanship and pride in their workmanship remain unchanged. Hentschel takes particular pride in the quality of each clock they make, and for good reason. Every step in the building of Hentschel cabinets is performed by their craftsmen to an exact standard established by the founders over 114 years ago.
The Hentschel building process starts with a meticulous wood selection process. All Hentschel cabinets are solid wood, utilizing the finest aged and cured hardwoods and veneers available. With each step of the shaping, assembly, and finishing, the wood is treated with great care and respect. When you see a Hentschel clock, that care and respect is evident in the luster of the finish and in the inner beauty coaxed out from deep inside the wood.
